From Samba to Swimwear: A Journey of Transformation
As a professional dancer, capoeirista and ex-gymnast — performing internationally, living between cultures, carrying multiple worlds in my body at once — I learned something that no classroom teaches: what you wear changes who you are. Not metaphorically. Literally.
I know this because I felt it myself. Every time I stepped into a costume before a performance, something shifted. And for years alongside my own performing, I designed those costumes for other dancers too — watching the same thing happen in them that I had always felt in myself, an undeniable shift—a moment when confidence transcended consciousness.
That magic deserved to exist beyond carnival.
It deserved to be woven into everyday luxury.
Mina De Oro is my answer.

The Legacy: What Is Carried Close
There's another thread in this story—one that runs through generations.
The founder's grandmother escaped to Australia with diamonds hidden in her clothing. Her great aunt's parents, fleeing to Cuba, practiced the same tradition.
These stories of carrying precious stones as symbols of hope, resilience, and survival became part of the brand's DNA.

The Meaning of What We Carry
These stories aligned with spiritual traditions in Santeria and Umbanda,
which share a belief in the quiet power of what is carried close.
- what you carry close to your body can influence your energy, confidence, and protect you.
- intention turns what we wear into an anchor for inner strength.
All these influences came together to shape the philosophy of Mina de Oro.

Today: A Meeting of Cultures
Today, Mina de Oro takes shape through place, craft, and design.
Based in Miami and produced in Italy.
Mina De Oro bridges the sun-drenched vibrancy of the tropics with the mysterious elegance of ancient craftsmanship.
Our Tropical Gypsy aesthetic celebrates cultural collision:
- where Miami heat meets Sephardic heritage;
- where celebration meets contemplation;
- where hidden power becomes visible pride.
Why We're Different
Each design is limited to 25 pieces per color. When they're gone, they're gone forever. This scarcity ensures that every piece remains rare and exclusive.
Real Diamonds
Tiny GIA certified diamond fragments are hand-applied to select pieces in the final stage of production. Though barely visible due to their small size, they create a subtle detail that makes each piece truly unique—your personal secret.
Italian Artisanship
Produced in Europe by artisans who understand that true luxury cannot be rushed. Every piece undergoes rigorous quality control to meet the highest standards.
Slow Fashion Philosophy
We reject the fast fashion model. Our pieces are investments—timeless designs crafted to last for years, not seasons.
Storytelling Through Design
Each collection draws inspiration from goddess archetypes across cultures, translating ancient feminine power into contemporary elegance.
